Janie Brady is the quilt designer behind Down to the Letter Quilt Co.  After an eleven year career in Federal Law Enforcement, she decided to follow her creative drive and make quilting her full-time occupation.  Janie started longarm quilting in 2018, but has been sewing and quilting since she was a child in her small town 4-H chapter.  Writing quilt patterns since 2023, she specializes in beginner-friendly quilt patterns perfect for large print fabrics and bold color lovers.  Janie loves to travel and after living in San Francisco, CA and Washington, DC, she is back where she started... the same farmhouse where she grew up in Illinois.  She shares this farmhouse with her husband, John, two Australian Shepherd fur babies, and many many quilts.
